Lesson Semester Policy:

TLC welcomes students to their monthly semester program.  Students are required to take a minimum of 1 lesson per week.  Semester payments are due on or before the last day of each month.  All lessons for the following month are paid for in full at this time.

We make every effort to notify students of lesson cancellations due to inclement weather by 2:00 on the day of the lesson.

Horsemanship is a very important part of our program.  We save horsemanship/indoor lessons for bad weather days.  A student can "test out" of particular indoor lessons with their instructor.  Horsemanship lessons are required for those riders who are unable to "test out".

Missed Lessons / Make Up Lessons (Semester or Call-In):

We understand that things come up.  When the instructor is notified by 12 noon for a lesson scheduled during the week or the night before for a weekend lesson a make up lesson will be granted.

Make up lessons do not expire and can be taken as long as the student is enrolled in a current semester.  Once a student is no longer enrolled in a lesson semester, the missed lessons are null and void.  There are no refunds on lessons not taken.  Make up lesson credits can be applied to lessons only.

We operate on the honor system at TLC.  Each rider keeps track of his or her make up lessons and is responsible for scheduling them.

Board and Lease Policy:

Board and horse lease fees are due on or the last day of each month for the following month and are on a month-to-month basis.

The horses must remain boarded at TLC for all half and full lease options.  A lease gives riders extra riding time, guarantees you the leased horse for horse shows and eliminates horse lease fees for horse shows.  We request 30 days notice of termination of lease.

Horse Show Fees / Registration:

TLC will handle all horse show entries for our clients.  Open entry checks and TLC's fees are due 10 days prior to the horse show.  If you find you are unable in a show after payment has been received we will issue you a credit towards another show.  Horse show credits can be applied to horse shows only.  No refunds will be given.

Payment Policy:

Board, lease and lesson payments are due on or before the last day of the month for the following month.

A $25 late fee will be assessed to payments received between the 1st and the 5th of the month.

A $50 late fee will be assessed to payments received between the 6th - 15th of the month.

In addition to a $50 late fee, all riding, lesson and lease privileges will be suspended if payments are not received by the 16th until your bill is brought current.

Return Check Policy

There is a $35 charge for any checks returned for non-sufficient funds.  If two checks are returned from the same client we will require payments to be paid in cash.
